Job Title:Director of Program Operations

Reports To: General Manager

Work Schedule: 40+ Hours

Overview: 

The Director of Program Operations ensures that all Starfire Sports programs create a World Class soccer experience for all participants, from our youngest Stars to our over 50 leagues, by overseeing the administration and management of all leagues, tournaments, and kids programs. This includes not only the research and development of new programs, but also maintaining and growing the size and quality of current programs including all budgeting and analysis of league success through quantitative and qualitative measures. To ensure qualitative success of Starfire programs, the Director of Program Operations is responsible for creating a seamless customer experience for all who enter the Starfire campus. Whether a customer is interacting with our parking or concessions staff, one of our referees or guest services associates, or one of our kids coaches, the Director of Program Operations will manage all facets of these areas as well as the policies and procedures guiding each functional area. Though most of this work will be done through oversight of league managers and area leads, the Director of Program Operations will also lead the implementation of the staff hiring, training and evaluation protocol.

Responsibilities: 

  • Program management and administration, including budgeting and analysis for
    • Leagues – Youth and Adult
    • Starfire Sports Soccer Academy – Kids Programs
    • Tournaments
    • Jamborees
  • Hiring, training and scheduling of all Associates including payroll
  • Implementing Starfire policies and procedures
  • Management of Concessions
  • Management of Parking

Create seamless customer experience from the time they come over the bridge or land on our website. Limit cost and maintain world class customer experience. Work out how to measure customer experience. Rate us, rate me etc… Ensure customer safety and experience.

Ensuring all staff are trained and evaluated according to the necessary requirements.

Continue to develop new and existing programs to reach capacity and stay ahead of any changes or new ideas from competitors

Performance Measures: 

  • Actual vs. Budget (Teams)
  • Timeliness of implementing new initiatives
  • Success of programs in the customers eye (surveys and feedback)
  • Customer experience/complaints
  • Employees
