For over 20 years, Starfire has been delivering accessible, world-class soccer programming to our community’s youth. Today, the Starfire Academy is designed to inspire a passion for sport, and empower youth with the life skills to support their development as tomorrow’s leaders. From the soccer field to the classroom, our soccer and STEM programs seek to make our participants as confident joining a robotics club as they are trying out for the soccer team.
In 2018, STEM was added to the Starfire Academy in order to further enhance our community support, and build on our vision of creating a thriving community that ensures equitable opportunities and access for all! STEM Classes for PreK through 6th Grade
Starfire Academy STEM Programs for Pre-K to 6th grade are designed to ensure equitable opportunities that inspire and empower participants to develop STEM-enabled knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to thrive in a rapidly changing STEM society. More information.
Soccer
Starfire Academy soccer programs take a progressive, control-first training approach for ages 18 months to 12 years old. We welcome children of all ages and ability levels, providing curriculums that introduce basic skills and concepts to beginners, as well as giving more advanced players exposure to technical and situational aspects of the game.
Stars Kids Classes for ages 18 months to 6 years
Starfire’s kids classes for ages 18 months to six years are focused on helping youth develop as players and community members through participation in soccer. Our classes feature fun, interactive and cooperative games that promote problem solving and teamwork. As your child grows and gains experience with the program, the classes will also become more advanced to help develop each child. More information.
4v4 Mini League for ages 4 to 9 years
Is your child ready to join a team but you don’t know where to start? We’ve got you covered with Starfire’s 4v4 mini league, where players will be introduced to team play in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. After an orientation practice week, players will be placed onto teams for the season, with games on Saturday mornings. More information.
Rising Stars Academy for ages 6 to 12 years
Introducing our Rising Stars Academy! Beginning Fall 2025, our Micro Training and Technical & Tactical Program are combining to become the Rising Stars Academy, a progressive training program for ages 6-12 years old, with various levels and options available for different age groups. This class is best suited for those who have participated in our Stars classes for several sessions or those who have an intermediate level of soccer experience. More information.
