Team Rosters for College Coaches – Mandatory for all teams
We are no longer using excel rosters for the Starfire Showcase! We are proud to be partnering with ScoutingZone in an effort to streamline the recruiting process through ScoutingZone’s cutting-edge mobile app and their comprehensive, “virtual” database. Not only does this maximize the exposure for each attendee, it also reduces the workload on team managers and coaches by moving team rosters online. This service is completely free to tournament participants. We will be sending out more information about the registration process, but players, managers and coaches are welcome to create an account in ScoutingZone if they do not already have one.
ScoutingZone gives players greater visibility among scouts and allows them to update their profiles to maximize exposure with photos and links to highlight videos. Players can create a Top 10 College list that alerts scouts of player matches for their program, increasing the opportunity for recruitment. In addition to streamlining the process for tournaments, scouts and players, ScoutingZone eliminates the time and costs associated with printing player profile booklets—all while making the experience environmentally-friendly.

College Recruiting Process Informational Seminars – A tremendous, FREE resource for teams
Whitehouse Consulting is a local college advising company that offers individual consulting services to both student-athletes and academic-only students. Their experience in the youth soccer recruiting process has spanned for over 20 years. Founder Gary Whitehouse has been instrumental in local college recruiting for over 300 hundred student athletes and is an expert on the college recruiting process in general.
Whitehouse Consulting will be presenting a very informative seminar during the 2019 Collegiate Showcase as follows. To ensure that these seminars have sufficient attendance without being overbooked, we request that teams register for the seminars ahead of time by emailing tournaments@starfiresports.com with their preferred time. We will then work with this commitment when constructing the schedule for the showcase so that the team can attend the seminar between or after their games.
What: Facts, Myths, and Trends of the College Recruiting Process
When: Saturday, 11/30/2019 from 11:00am-12:00pm -OR- 3:00pm-4:00pm; the material of each seminar is the same, but the questions during the Q&A process will likely differ.
Where: The meeting room on the top floor of the Starfire Athletic Center. When you enter the main building from the front, head up the staircase and turn right. The meeting room is through the double glass doors to the right of Watershed FC. Or you can just ask the front desk folks where the classroom is located.

Video Services
Northwest Sports Video are the official videographers for the 2019 Sounders FC Cup. Northwest Video uses HD cameras and film at 1080p. Cameras are elevated to ~20 feet on the fields (conditions permitting) to provide an excellent perspective on the action, suitable for recruiting videos or film study. Only games scheduled in advance are filmed.
Resources are limited. There are two purchase options, both include all three guaranteed games.
Team License: This license allows and encourages the video and the cost among the team.
Single User License: This license allows you to purchase the game package for use within your immediate family. Sharing of the video and cost is NOT permitted.

College Coach Registration
ScoutingZone is the Official Scouting Partner of Starfire Sports. This system will serve as where you will register that you as a college coach are attending the event and also where teams and players will add their resume information for you to access. Many coaches will already have accounts from other major showcases throughout the country, and can easily register for the event through the app. It’s also quite possible that teams and players will have accounts from other showcases, which should make the process easier for all.
ScoutingZone is geared toward college soccer recruitment, providing scouts with real-time access to player profiles from all over the country. Through their cutting-edge mobile app and “virtual” database of player profiles, ScoutingZone is streamlining the recruiting process for tournaments, scouts and players, at no cost to the players.
