STEM CLASSES
In 2019, STEM was added to the Starfire Academy to enhance our community support further and build on our vision of creating a thriving community that ensures equitable opportunities and access for all!
The Starfire STEM Academy aims to provide equitable opportunities and access to STEM learning that inspire and empower participants to develop STEM-enabled knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to thrive in a rapidly changing society. This inclusive program fosters a sense of belonging and enables all youth to participate meaningfully and feel valued for who they are.
Our fall 2026 theme for STEM will be Outer Space! Join us as we explore STEM topics surrounding space and space travel.
Registration for fall season will open August 3rd!
Our fall 2026 season will begin September 15th and run for 10 weeks.
Our pre-K and Kindergarten STEM class is designed to foster curiosity and give a basic introduction to STEM concepts to students preparing for or just starting their educational journey. Topics and activities will change week to week as we rotate through science, technology, engineering, and math.
Please note: if your child is not fully potty trained we do require that you stay in the immediate area as our instructors do not accompany children into the restroom at any time.
Days / Availability:
Thursdays or Fridays at 4:30pm, beginning September 17th.
