Technical & Tactical Training
Our Technical & Tactical Program is open to youth ages 7-12 years old looking to develop both their technical and tactical skills. This program aims to advance players’ soccer skills through comprehensive and specialized sessions. Children will improve their technical skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting, alongside tactical aspects such as positioning, movement, and game strategy. Small indoor field games foster better ball control, game understanding, and teamwork.
Recommended for players seeking to elevate their soccer proficiency, this program guarantees a positive developmental experience with guidance from our team of over 15 U.S. Soccer licensed coaches. Our coaches are committed to nurturing each player’s growth, ensuring personalized attention and a structured progression of skills.
Season Details
Our Summer season will run from June 17 – August 23 with registration opening on May 19
Each weekly session is 75 minutes long. Participants may only participate in the day and time for which they register.
Days of the week, practice time, and level of play options are as follows:
- Tuesdays at 5:00 PM & 6:30 PM – Technical Academy 1 (All levels, ages 7-12)
- Fridays at 5:00 PM – Technical Academy 1 (All levels, ages 7-12) – No practice July 4
- Saturdays at 9:15 AM – Technical Academy 1 (All levels, ages 7-12) – No practice July 5
- Fridays at 6:30 PM – Technical Academy 2 (Intermediate to Advanced, ages 7-12) – Preapproval required; Contact academy@starfiresports.com for registration; No practice July 4
- Saturdays at 10:45 AM – Technical Academy 2 (Intermediate to Advanced, ages 7-12) – Preapproval required; Contact academy@starfiresports.com for registration; No practice July 5
All practices will be held indoor on field 2.
$25.50 per 75 minute practice session ($229.50 for 9 week season and $255 for 10 week season). Friday and Saturday seasons are 9 weeks and Tuesday is 10 weeks. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable.

- Log in to our registration site using your username and password.
- Not a member? Enter your email address in the New Customer Registration field to begin the process. Learn more about the benefits of membership.
- Once logged in, click Register on the left-hand side and under “Classes, Camps & Clinics”, select Continue.
- Select your child or “add new child” to register a new child not in the system.
- The following screen should bring up the list of Stars classes or Micro Leagues that are available for that child. You can use the drop-down menu to search for other classes. Please note that micro league registration closes after the first two weeks of each session, but it may reach capacity before this time.
- After finding the correct class, click Register and follow the prompts on the following page.
- If your child is not a current Starfire Sports Member, you can purchase a membership on the payment screen
- In the shopping cart, click continue to proceed with payment.
- Enter your credit card number and expiration date. Select the “Process Payment” button.
- You will be sent a receipt via email.
