For more than 20 years, Starfire has been a hub for inclusive, community-driven programming in South King County. Each year, more than 65,000 athletes, students, and families come to our 54-acre campus to play, learn, and connect through sports and STEM. As a social enterprise, every dollar we earn is reinvested into our facilities, programs, and partners—allowing us to offer free or reduced-cost access to low-income youth. We’re committed to expanding our impact by growing our partnerships, diversifying our funding, and launching new programs that meet the evolving needs of our community.
Financial Assistance
Our financial assistance programs allow teams and individuals to participate in our Starfire programs and events including the Starfire STEM Classes & Camps, Starfire Soccer Classes, Youth Soccer Leagues, and Youth Soccer Tournaments & Jamborees at low or no cost.
Starfire's Kickstart After-School Program
Starfire’s Kickstart After-school Program is a free youth program that combines academics with athletics. Designed for students who would otherwise be unable to participate in organized sports or extra curriculars, Kickstart removes the financial and logistical barriers that too often keep kids on the sidelines. By partnering with schools that are Title 1 or part of the Meals for Washington Students program in the south King County area we are bringing this program to those in our community who need it the most.
Equipment Donations
Having the right gear is a big part of getting the soccer experience. Starfire Sports outfits hundreds of youth every year with the equipment they need. We supply cleats, shin guards, socks, shorts and soccer balls to youth ages 18 months to 18 years who are in need.
Our Partners
Starfire Sports provides financial assistance in the form of unlimited scheduled access to the Starfire campus and educational centers to public and non-profit organizations that directly benefit under-resourced youth. We aim to provide a place where our community’s youth can play, learn and compete—encouraging them in their academic and athletic endeavors.
