Starfire’s outdoor 8v8 league takes the rules and speed of indoor soccer outside. Played on a smaller field and with smaller goals than 11v11, 8v8 is a great hybrid of indoor and outdoor soccer. Register for the next session or view league details below.

League Details
- Games are 22:30 minute halves; start times range from 6pm to 10pm
- Starfire league membership or season player pass is required to be on a roster.
- Only rostered players may participate. All players must be on the roster with waiver and sportsmanship agreement signed.
- First game schedule will be posted within six days of the season start
- 8 players on the field (4 male, 3 female, GK either gender for Coed leagues)
- 8 players minimum to 20 players maximum on roster

**Non-refundable $150 deposit included in team fee. Team fee is due prior to your team’s first match. Starfire membership required for participation.

**The fine print: The remaining length of your current membership will be doubled (up to 1 year). To take advantage of this offer, a minimum of one year must have passed since a previous Starfire membership expired and it must be a new team at Starfire.
Women’s Open
Women’s Open is a moderately competitive level of play. Teams feature players with college, high school and competitive youth club level soccer experience.
Women’s Recreational
Our women’s recreational 8v8 league is for a wide range of skill levels of players who are usually recreational or casual soccer players.
Women’s Over 30
Our women’s Over 30 8v8 league is a moderately competitive level of play for soccer players who are 30 or older by the day of that game.
Women’s Over 40
Women’s Over 40 is the most recreational women’s 8v8 soccer league at Starfire. Participants are usually beginners or casual soccer players who must be 40 or older by the day of that game.
Coed Competitive
Coed Competitive is the most competitive level of play. Teams feature players with college and competitive youth club level soccer experience.
Coed Recreational
Participants in Coed Rec are usually beginners or casual soccer players that are recreational or trying to get back into the sport.
Coed Over 30
Coed O30 is a moderately competitive level of play for soccer players who are 30 or older by the day of that game.
Men’s Competitive
Men’s Competitive is the most advanced and competitive 8v8 men’s soccer league. Teams typically have players with college and/or professional playing experience.
Men’s Recreational
For a wide range of skill levels of players who are usually recreational or casual soccer players.
Men’s Over 30
Men’s Over 30 is a moderately competitive level of play for soccer players who are 30 or older by the day of that game.
Men’s Over 40
Men’s Over 40 is the most recreational men’s 8v8 soccer league at Starfire. Participants are usually beginners or casual soccer players who must be 40 or older by the day of that game.

Below is a guided step by step process on how to register your team in a Starfire Sports Adult Soccer League. If you have any questions about your registration or the leagues that are not answered on our website, please send us an email.
How to Register
- Click here to log in. Having trouble logging in? Make sure to use the email address on file with Starfire Sports. Only use one email address. Still having trouble? Try resetting your password.
- New to Starfire? Click here and follow the prompts to create your account.
- After logging in, you may register a team or join an existing team by clicking “Register” on the left-hand side of the screen and following the directions below.
Register a New or Past Team
- Once logged in, click “Register” on the left-hand side of the screen, then click “Register New Team or Past Team.”
- On the next screen, scroll to find your league, then select the night and division when you’d like to play.
- All players on the roster must have a current Starfire Starfire Membership
- Once your team has been formed, you or other players can make online payments toward the team fee.
Join a Team
- Once logged in, click the “Register” link on the screen, then select the applicable program (e.g. Adult Indoor), making sure your name is selected as “Who are you registering?”
- After selecting the applicable program, you’ll see a list of all teams for a particular season.
- Select the appropriate league.
- Once the page refreshes, find your team and select “Request to Join.”
- Click the “Confirm Request” button on the next page.
- Once your captain/manager accepts your request to join the team, you will see a link to your team page under the “Schedules and Standings” heading on the left side of the page.
- All players on the roster should purchase a current Starfire Starfire Membership if required.
- Once on your team(s), you can make payments online toward team fees (see below).

Make a Team Payment
- Click on the link to your name under your team’s roster, select “Make Payment,” enter payment amount, and select “Add to Cart”.
- You will now see your shopping cart at the top of your page. Click on the “Checkout” button at the bottom of the cart.
- Enter your credit card number and expiration date. Select the “Process Payment” button.
- You will be sent a receipt via email
